Kevin Flynn was a brillant computer programmer for ENCOM. He created video games in his spare time, but these games were stolen by Ed Dillinger, an ENCOM co-worker. Dillinger passed Flynn's work off as his own, eventually to become a top executive and firing Flynn.
Space Paranoids was one of the game titles originally developed by Kevin Flynn. When TRON was released in 1982, the game title only existed as a story reference. When Flynn's Arcade was created for the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con, a playable Space Paranoids game was created and placed in custom arcade cabinets.
