Brave - John Ratzenberger - Gordon the Guard
Actor John Ratzenberger is considered Pixar Studio's lucky charm and has voiced a character in every Pixar Studios animated feature. Best known for playing Cliff Clavin, know-it-all postman from the sitcom Cheers, Ratzenberger fakes enough of a Scottish accent to voice Brave's Gordon the Guard.

During the Scottish Highland games, the mischievious Harris, Hubert and Hamish run through a blacksmith's tent kncking over a stack of shields. One of the shields is painted yellow with a blue star in the center, vaguely resembling Luxo Junior's Pixar Ball.

Brave's animators hid Sulley, from the upcoming Disney·Pixar animated feature Monsters University (2013) inside the witch's workshop. In this image, Sulley appears behind the witch's right shoulder, on a workbench next to the front door.

Carved in Roman numerals, A113 appears over the witch's doorway and refers to CalArts in Valencia, California. A113 or A1-13 refers to a specific CalArts classroom. Recognized as one of the best art & animation schools in the world, the majority of Disney & Pixar animators have spent time in CalArts classroom A1-13 for character animation and design.
