Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to FindingMickey.com! This site is dedicated to the finding of Hidden Mickeys at the Disneyland Resort, Anaheim California with photographic evidence! We are currently working on other areas of interest such as Disneyland characters, dining and little known facts. Disney is in the details, and that's what we are here to document!

What is a Hidden Mickey?

A Hidden Mickey is a partial or complete image of Mickey Mouse that has been hidden by Disney's Imagineers, artists or cast members in Disney attractions, hotels, restaurants, stores, etc. These images are designed to blend into their surroundings. The most common Hidden Mickeys are three intersecting circles to form the outline of Mickey's head and ears...also known as the "classic" Mickey.

However, there is a thin line between real Hidden Mickeys and decorative Mickeys. Real Hidden Mickeys are not obvious whereas decorative Mickeys are in plain sight for the purpose of decoration. The difference is in the eye of the beholder. Because of this we will list ALL Mickeys hidden or not!

And then there are wishful thinking Mickeys. These are Mickeys that people might think look like a Hidden Mickey, but are not. Not any three circles can be a Hidden Mickey. Hidden Mickeys should be proportioned correctly...as told to us by a cast member in City Hall (the City Hall ladies are so helpful)!

You can ask cast members the whereabouts of Hidden Mickeys. Some may or may not know what you are talking about. From experience the cast members working their ride usually know where to look. BUT they have never told us outright where to find one...only given us hints! So go out and find those Hidden Mickeys! HAVE FUN! ºoº

Everything Else

We've compiled a section of everything else we do throughout a Disney day from hunting down Disney characters to trying to match King Arthur's Carousel horses with their names. This is fun...really! ;)
