Warren Spector, Junction Point Studios' General Manager, is Epic Mickey's creator and lead game designer. Spector is best known for role-playing games and first person shooters. His game credits include Wing Commander, Ultima VI & VII, System Shock and Deus Ex.

Famed comic and sci-fi writer Peter David, will write a series of digi-comics to act as the prequel to the Epic Mickey storyline. Titled Disney's Epic Mickey: Tales of Wasteland, David's digital prequel will be broken up into six, eight page stories. David will also write a 64-page graphic novel, based on the Epic Mickey storyline.
