Dedicated in 2005, Engine No. 5 is named for famed Disney Studios animator, Ward Kimball.
Kimball had his own backyard railroad - The Grizzly Flats Railroad. Dubbed the Scenic Wonder of the West, the Grizzly Flats featured two engines, a passenger coach, several gondolas and ran on 500 feet of three-foot narrow gauge track. Kimball shared a love of trains and locomotives with his boss, Walt Disney, and Ward's Grizzly Flats Railroad may have inspired Disney to build his own.
