Frontierland - Pack Mules - Bought, Sold & Rented

Big Thunder Railroad: In the town of Big Thunder there is an ad - Pack Mules - Bought, Sold & Rented. The sign pays homage to Frontierland's Mule rides, which carried guests through the frontier, painted desert or nature's wonderland from 1955 to 1973. Originally named the Mule Pack for Disneyland's 1955 opening, the attraction became the Rainbow Ridge Pack Mules in 1956. Its next incarnation, the Pack Mules Through Nature's Wonderland roamed through Disneyland's frontier from 1960 to its closing in 1973.
