A couple new books we just bought:
The Quotable Disney compiled by Dave Smith.
The Quotable Walt Disney is filled with the genius and insight of the founder of The Walt Disney Company. The quotations range from the well-known to the obscure, but all are assured to entertain, enlighten and inspire. The Quotable Walt Disney holds anecdotes that not only offer lessons on life, work and creativity but also illuminate the philosophy of one of America's greatest creative geniuses. Its convenient, best-selling format makes it a perfect fit -- whether in a backpackor on a coffee table -- and a delightful gift.

Neil, Noah and I will be at Disneyland March 3 & 4 to celebrate my birthday! We will be spending the night at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and eating breakfast with Chip & Dale! I plan on taking LOTS of pictures...so check back for those!
(January 29, 2008) For the first time in 10 years, the Disneyland Resort is commemorating the Lunar New Year The Year of the Mouse. In honor of this special occasion, a special photo location will be available on Main Street, U.S.A. from February 5 29 where Mickey and Minnie will be on hand wearing Asian attire. Also available will be signage in English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean featuring highlights of the Lunar New Year. In addition, Mickey Mouse will appear in the 2008 Golden Dragon Parade on February 9 in Los Angeles Chinatown. The annual event draws more than 110,000 spectators and has become a community favorite over the past 20 years.
"Marking the year is especially meaningful as the Year of the Mouse occurs only once every 12 years," said Xiomara Wiley, Vice President, Disneyland Resort Marketing and Multicultural Marketing. "We are excited to pay tribute to this momentous occasion with Mickey and Minnie and Disneyland Resort Guests from around the world."
Hong Kong Disneyland will commemorate the Lunar New Year in a grand fashion by combining the best Chinese New Year traditions with Disney's unique style of entertainment, dcor and food offerings.
