Walt Disney Short: Runaway Brain

The 7 minute Walt Disney animated short, Runaway Brain, was released on August 11, 1995 with A Kid in King Arthur's Court. It was re-released in 1997 with Disney's live-action remake of George of the Jungle. Runaway Brain was nominated for an Academy Award in 1996 for Best Short Film: Animated Film.

Disney fans may notice there are Hidden Disney references scattered throughtout the short. For example, the name Dr. Frankenollie is an ode to famed animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, two of Walt Disney's Nine Old Men.
