2008 Disney Stamps

The Art of Disney: Imagination

The 2008 USPS Disney stamps titled The Art of Disney: Imagination (5th and final in The Art of Disney series) illustrate the theme of imagination. They will feature Pongo and one of his pups from 101 Dalmatians, Mickey Mouse as Steamboat Willie, Princess Aurora and her three fairy godmothers Flora, Fauna and Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty and Mowgli and Baloo from The Jungle Book. Art director Terrence McCaffrey of Leesburg, VA, joined a design team that included artist Peter Emmerich of Yonkers, NY, and creative director Dave Pacheco of Burbank, CA, to create the four stamps. It is unsure when these will go on sale. I will keep you updated!
