Beware of pirates!

Looks like Tom Sawyer Island is going to the pirates! Posted at Disneyland.com:

Beware! Pirates have been sighted in the Rivers of America surrounding Tom Sawyer Island! They have been drawn from all over the world by mysterious rumors of buried treasure.

To buttress the island's defenses against a pirate invasion, Tom Sawyer Island will be closed starting February 5. When the island reopens on May 25, 2007, expect thrilling new adventures and ample opportunity for scurvy pirate recruits to hunt for hidden treasure.

I wonder what kind of fun pirate things will be added? How exciting!

I'm excited!!! I'm a pirate lover. I've only been to Tom Sawyer Island a few times though.
Is the Pirate change confirmed? Do you know when?

It's confirmed by what they said on the Disneyland website and the fact they are shutting down the island for almost 3 months! As to what they are changing/adding...your guess is as good as mine! ^~
